In the 7th section of the Futurist Manifesto it can be read “Any work of art that lacks a sense of agressión can never be a masterpiece. Poetry must be thought of as a violent assault upon upon the forces of the unknown with the intention of making them postrate themselves at the feet of mankind”.
And further it continues “Art, indeed, can be nothing but violence, cruelty and injustice”.
We are not interested in masterpieces, but in works of art conceived as a violent assault upon upon the forces of the unknown.
